Disregard

Have you ever heard of oneword.com? My friend Laura told me about it - I finally looked at it today. The concept is you get a 1 word prompt and 60 seconds to write. Kind of cool!
Today's word was disregard
Here's my writing:
Do not disregard your past it helps to set you up for your future. You don't have to dwell in it but at least remember and honor it. It happened it is you or at least a part of you. You are a sum of your past and soon your future will play a part of you too.
